As part of his prison sentence, Romain, a young locksmith who fell for fraud, joins the brigade of a restaurant led by its talented and charismatic chef.

Following the fire he caused to scuttle his restaurant, the Chef has to deal with Delphine, the new manager of the establishment sent by Mr. Edouard to modernize the restaurant.

Beaten up by Lucien, a creditor to whom he owes a lot of money, the Chief is in hospital, in a coma. The brigade is in shock.

Romain has accidentally killed Lucien, who was once again trying to get the money owed by the Chief. With the help of Yann, he tries to get rid of the corpse.

The rivalry between Romain and Yann has reached its point of no return. Yann challenges Romain to a culinary duel, an ancestral practice to settle conflicts in a brigade.

With the help of Romain, whom he unknowingly uses as his palate to elaborate his new menu, the Chef has returned to the forefront of the culinary scene. But this is not enough for Delphine.
