Meanwhile, it's Spike's high school reunion weekend, and Snake, Caitlin, Joey, and Lucy are discovering how much their lives have changed. It's the first day of school at Degrassi, and Ashley Kerwin is running for student council president. Her new stepbrother and arch-enemy Toby is way less than thrilled about it, so he convinces his friend J.T. to run against her.  Life in the Kerwin household is about to take a big dip down the suckiness scale...

Degrassi's first ever night-time dance is coming up. Terri's sure that nobody will want to go with her, though she has her eye on Spinner. But Paige does too, and she figures she can get Spinner for herself if she gives Terri precisely the wrong kind of confidence-booster.

Toby's mom and dad can't be in the same room together without going ballistic, so he's desperate to keep at least one of them away from school on Parents' Day.  He might be doing his mom a favor, because she's a casting agent, and both Ashley and Paige are looking to go Hollywood.

Ashley and Jimmy are coming up on their eight-month anniversary, and they're starting to wonder if it's time to get "serious," physically. Paige convinces Ashley that Jimmy's getting bored and ready to bolt. Now Ashley's got to decide... how much seriousness is she ready for?
