Gary and Jillian are having issues in Love Land. Meanwhile, James and Brenda are just loving each other dearly, leading to a jealous Jillian and a competition between Gary and James.

Jillian's mother, Etta Mae, comes to town for a visit as James and Brenda are dealing with their own unwanted visitor - their unemployed and homeless son, Byron.

Jillian brings her work - a young boy named Trevor - home with her. Everyone adores him except for Gary, who thinks Trevor is not all that he seems.

Gary is convinced Jillian found a treasure map in the bottom of an old trunk she bought at a yard sale.

Jillian invites the pastor over for dinner, and Gary immediately becomes territorial when he discovers that the pastor is a handsome catch with an eye for Jillian.

Gary invites his friends over for a fun night of poker, but Calvin needs more than just a boys night out.
