I Picked Up the Star

Lee Yeon Seo (Kim Ga Eun) is at the end of her tether with an inept line manager who blames her for his own mistakes while also failing to ensure she gets paid for her work. During an after-work drinking session, she lashes out at a man she thinks is her manager in the street. The man slumps to the ground, and she fears she has killed him. Even worse, her victim wasn’t her manager after all – but celebrity Kang Joon Hyeok (Sung Hoon). In panic, she drags the “body” home, but it turns out that Joon Hyuk isn’t dead. When he comes to, he thinks he’s been kidnapped. Afraid of the consequences, Yeon Seo tries to prevent him from escaping. Can she clear up the mess before it consumes her and her captive? This 2018 South Korean drama series was directed by Kwon Heok Chan.
