Love Lurking

After saving a mysterious drug trafficker known as K (Yang Bing Zhuo), surgeon Gu Nian (Zhao Xi Xi) finds herself inadvertently dragged into the brutal world of drug trafficking. In order to survive, Gu Nian helps K, but she also begins to fall for him. In a final act of protection, K sacrifices himself during a confrontation with a drug lord, leaving Gu Nian heartbroken and alone. Half a year later, Gu Nian has taken a job as an outpatient doctor, too traumatized to return to surgery. When a mysterious client demands that she operate on someone, she confronts them – only to meet a man named Song Qian (also played by Yang Bing Zhuo), a cold corporate executive who looks exactly like K. Song Qian denies any association with K, but when Gu Nian ends up in danger again, the truth behind Song Qian's appearance may come to light.
