Mitsu Haneki (Asuka Kawazu), a college freshman, hopes to move past her heartbreaking first love with Kaede Hirako (Jin Suzuki) from junior high. Her fresh start is unexpectedly disrupted when Kaede moves into the room next to hers. Torn between her lingering feelings for Kaede and her desire for a new romance, Mitsu's emotional journey becomes more complex when she suspects her best friend Kazuha Yamashita (Jinto Yoshida) might have romantic feelings for her.
