Lydia Harrison arrives in London to start her new life as a freelance fashion writer and blogger. She moves into her new digs - she'll be staying with her cousin Chloe in a converted Shoreditch warehouse. Drama finds her pretty quickly. She runs into her ex-boyfriends on her first night in town. Following an introduction by friend and model Jackson, Lydia scores an opportunity to work for Models 1, one of the world's leading agencies which represents heavyweight names like Linda Evangelista, Agyness Deyn, Rosie Huntington-Whitely and Robert Pattinson.

Lydia has been offered a two-week contract with Models 1. In addition to updating their blog, Lydia will help scout for new faces as well as chaperone a younger male-model on shoots and go-sees.

Elle is Lydia's holy grail. She's been reading and collecting Elle since she was 13 and the magazine represents everything Lydia loves about fashion: style, individuality, and inspiration.

Lydia is hired by this burgeoning beauty start-up to contribute a number of blog posts per week. Cult Beauty is a savvy, authoritative beauty guide online and Lydia will be working with an esteemed panel of experts, writing about the hottest beauty trends and products.

After a grueling start to Lydia's adventure in London she secures a position writing for Elle, this marks the zenith of Lydia's journey across the series.
