Anna and her friends Nancy, Louie, and Cat work at a local brewery, run by a difficult boss, Jack. After a drunken work function, the group find themselves living in the aftermath of his unexplained death. The panicked women close ranks as they debate what to do next, finally agreeing to keep their secret to protect each other. But that's easier said than done.

The police begin interviewing the brewery workers about Jack's background and his behavior at the party. Believing he died from a drug-induced heart attack, the women struggle to keep their secret.
