The Wingfeather Saga

It’s Dragon Day in Glipwood. The annual festival in the small township on the edge of the Dark Sea of Darkness. Visitors from across Skree descend upon the town to hear the migrating sea dragon song and be moved to varied emotions. They are all watched by the occupying Fangs of Dang. A fierce enemy that invaded during the Great War 9 years before. Janner Igiby has been put in charge of his two younger siblings for the day. When the brothers are distracted by some pop-rockets, their sister Leeli wanders off and gets in trouble with a bullying Fang. As the kids flee to the cliffs, they encounter the sea dragon song, and a secret power is revealed.

Janner makes a special fang-repellent necklace for Sara, but Tink interrupts him with the mysterious map that he was supposed to return. The Fang Slarb taunts Janner with terrible news. Nia and Podo challenge the mayor to do more to keep their families safe. The kids follow the map to find help for a friend at a creepy manor, but instead discover a secret that changes everything.

Nia and Podo arrive home to find their home ransacked by Fangs. At the Anklejelly manor, Janner, Tink, and Leeli run into Pete the Sock Man as they attempt to escape the horned hounds. They follow him through Glipwood Forest to his tree house, where Janner tries to find out who he really is. Podo finds the kids, punches Pete, and warns the children to never speak to Pete again. Slarb kills a fellow Fang and escapes trouble only when he reveals that the Igiby family has the jewels of Anniera.
