Betrayed by his lover, a depressed Yang Jeong-guk heads to a nightclub. There, he meets Kim Mi-yeong, who's also just been hurt in a relationship.

Park Hoo-ja looks to take revenge for her father. Jeong-guk inadvertently becomes a national hero while evading capture by her minions.

Abducted and threatened by Hoo-ja, Jeong-guk finds he has no choice but to give in to her demands. Mi-yeong promises to catch her attacker.

When Kim Ju-myeong asks to see Jeong-guk's skills as a conman, he and his crew work out a real estate scam.

Jeong-guk enlists his family to pull off a scheme that would free him; Hoo-ja retaliates by planting seeds of doubt in Mi-yeong.
