Optimus Prime builds a new team of young Cybertronians to train at the Rescue Bots Academy, learning how to respond to emergency situations and become heroes.

With the help of Mul-T-Cog and his friends, Hot Shot learns to find his place on the Rescue Bot Recruits team.

Hot Shot is frustrated by their slow speed during a simulation and, while taking a shortcut, accidentally runs into Chuck. He must baby-sit the damaged RBA Test Robot until the new parts are ready, but Chuck won't stay put.

Hoist feels terrible when some new tools he invents to improve the team's rescue abilities fail spectacularly.

Whirl's knowledge of Police Bot procedure and attention to detail saves the day when the recruits get caught in a snow storm.

The Rescue Bots engage in a simulated farm rescue and learn that there are no small rescues, and that every life on earth is connected.
