Andy Allen welcomes three new judges: Sofia Levin, Poh Ling Yeow and Jean-Christophe Novelli, including guest judge Jamie Oliver.

The 22 contestants are thrown into their first big Service Challenge, where they must feed 40 returning MasterChef Legends with a three-course meal.

The top five cooks will get the chance to cook in the first immunity challenge and avoid the first elimination; first, Sofia has set them the challenge of making a dish that the judges cannot resist.

Five contestants must choose between a 90-minute cook and one ingredient or only 45 minutes to cook and up to 20 ingredients in the first immunity challenge.

The judges and contestants share their food dreams and stories of how they got there; in 75 minutes, the contestants must cook a dish representing their food dream.

The cooks are challenged to make a dish from Mystery Box ingredients chosen by Jamie Oliver's parents, with the four weakest dishes set to send their makers into elimination.
