The tribe begins their journey in an ancient river valley, with basic rations, animal hides and a canoe; a breakaway hunting expedition creates concerns for the tribe's safety; as hunger strikes, the tribe builds boats in search of migrating animals.

The tribe attempts to conquer steep rocky terrain in order to reach promising hunting grounds; an approaching storm and freezing temperatures change everything; with the rations gone, the tribe must work together to survive another week.

Surviving the Stone Age

Deep in the Bulgarian wilderness, the tribe gets a kill using only Stone Age weapons; they make the most of their good fortune by feasting, preserving the meat, using the skin and bones to make more tools and creating rock-face art.
