Paola Guadagnino, the mother of reality star Vinny Guadagnino, is a fine cook when it comes to Italian food. The problem is that's the only cuisine that she cooks and eats. Hoping to expand her culinary horizons, Vinny takes his mom on a road trip across the United States to take her out of her comfort zone to discover foods she has not yet experienced. The dishes Paola tries for the first time include Southern barbecue ribs, sushi in San Francisco and game meat -- including rattlesnake -- in Colorado.
