S2, E4: Eric and the team are called to Paris when MICHAEL, a former Guantanamo guard, is kidnapped while visiting a friend/ex-GTMO detainee, AHMED. After finding Ahmed in hiding, Eric and the team enlist his help to track down Michael’s captors. Tensions rise as Eric begins to question whether or not Ahmed is helping the team or helping the kidnappers. While Zara works remotely with Michael’s mother, the team looks into Michael’s and Ahmed’s pasts, learning that both men are not as innocent as they seem.
