Oliver Cooper

Oliver Cooper was already performing stand-up before he had even finished high school. A huge comedy fan growing up, he revered the freewheeling style of Bill Murray and Robin Williams. Cooper headed to Arizona State University, but his studies could not compete with his love of comedy and acting. He quit after a year and moved to Los Angeles, CA, to chase the dream. First starring in a selection of shorts, Cooper aced his first major audition by landing a lead role in found-footage party movie "Project X" (2012). The film was produced by Todd Philips, who turned to Cooper to fill a small role in "The Hangover Part III" (2013). Cooper collaborated with director Joe Burke to develop, produce and co-write feature length indie comedy "Four Dogs" (2013). Cooper also proved he could handle serious characters in thriller "Runner Runner" (2013), with Ben Affleck and Justin Timberlake, and a major role in in the final season of "Californication" (Showtime, 2007-2014), playing Levon Moody, Hank Moody's (David Duchovny) son. Joe Dante tempted Cooper back to the world of comedy with zombie comedy "Burying the Ex" (2014) before Cooper starred in the pilot for Amazon Studio's quirky '80s-set sitcom "Red Oaks" (2014-) which was commissioned for a full season after great critical buzz.
