British comedian Griff Rhys Jones begin his epic 'offhighway' journey of New Zealand from north to south, starting at Cape Reinga and travelling via Russell and Kaipara Harbour to Auckland.

Griff Rhys Jones' four-part top-to-toe journey down New Zealand's back roads sees him travel from Auckland to the Coromandel, White Island and on to Taupo, and finally Wellington.

Griff's journey takes him to the Cook Strait, where he views some of the planet's from spectacular scenery on the South Island.

Griff begins the final leg of his journey, travelling from Queenstown, over the Remarkables, to the bottom of the country and Bluff.
