In the first episode of Masterchef All Stars contestants from Series 1, 2, and 3 were welcomed back into the MCK. From series 1, Chris, Julie, Justine and Poh. From Series 2, Marion, Jonathan, Aaron and Callum. And from Series 3, Dani, Hayden, Kate and Kumar. Their first challenge back in the kitchen was a team 'relay' where they had to create the dreaded croquembouche by Adriano Zumbo.

The teams face a four-round challenge, with nominated members cooking off against their opposite number.

The teams cook a sausage sizzle for 100 trainee firefighters.

More tense cooking challenges down under. This time, the contestants find eight ingredients in their mystery boxes, each of them chosen by a world famous chef.

All twelve all-stars compete individually to perfectly dice one kilo of onions; then, the take on the task of rescuing a bolognese in the fix-that-dish challenge.

This time, members of the losing team must revisit a tricky dessert challenge.
