Tammie's ailing father moves in and the rest of the Browns have to adjust to a new normal; later, Tammie heads to Mexico for a gig and tensions with Sheila reach an all-time high.

Tammie's new level of fame causes a difficult adjustment for the Browns; Sheila's lack of management expertise is highlighted when Tammie goes to a terrible commercial audition.

While Tammie's fame continues to rise so does her suspicions, as she begins to question loyalty and trust of those closest to her; things take a turn for the worse when the tabloid press comes for Tammie.

Tammie returns home after her journey of self discovery to find her family in strange form. Amidst the chaos of her son's viral fame, her best friend Sheila's drunken hijinks, and her father's involvement in a pyramid scheme, Tammie decides to take a second shot at love.

Sheila convinces Tammie to write and record a song with Billy, but in the studio, creative differences arise that fracture the family in a way that only Sheila could plan.

With the house feeling more empty than usual, Tammie begins to bond with her sister, Ethel. Meanwhile, Sheila finds it increasingly difficult to deal with Billy's new diva antics.
