As a teenager, Claus Malmqvist starts to make easy money by selling cannabis; soon his career picks up speed, and in a few years the boy from Valby became one of the biggest drug gangsters in Europe.

Claus is ready to retire; from his new base in Brazil, he is planning his last major job; the last, large batch of cannabis is about to be sailed from Morocco to Denmark, but something goes wrong.

In Denmark, the police are looking for a missing, body; in Oslo they find a torn note with a telephone number; both things are connected to Claus Malmqvist.

Prison in Brazil is hell, but for Claus Malmqvist, it is better than going back to Denmark, where a sentence of up to 16 years awaits him; with his Brazilian family, he thinks he is secured against extradition.
