Natalie Dormer

After honing her craft in British theatre, Dormer landed a substantial supporting role in "Casanova" (2005), a romantic comedy about the life and times of the world's most famous lover (Heath Ledger). She next played a young heiress who gets involved with Detective John Rebus (Ken Scott) in the third installment of the acclaimed BBC series"Rebus: The Falls" (2006), before portraying Anne Boleyn, the doomed second wife of King Henry VIII (Jonathan Rhys Meyers) in Showtime's lavish and expansive series "The Tudors" (2007-2010). Following a small role in the retro superhero movie "Captain America: The First Avenger" (2011), Dormer landed the breakthrough part of Margaery Tyrell on the hit fantasy series "Game of Thrones" (HBO, 2011-). While playing the opportunistic and manipulative beauty on the show, her career swiftly ascended, with subsequent roles in the lauded racing drama "Rush" (2013) and the Ridley Scott crime movie "The Counselor" (2013). As if things couldn't get any busier for Dormer, she was cast in a key part in the two-part epic finale of the "Hunger Games" franchise, "Mockingjay," slated for respective 2014 and 2015 releases.
