Top lawyer Ryoma Shiba (Shogo Hama) is a genius in the courtroom, but away from the world of law, he struggles with social anxiety. He lives a solitary life in a high-rise apartment, where he shuns people and talks to his houseplants. But his life changes on the night he meets the likable but deceptive con artist Haruto (Katsumi Hyodo). Despite his natural aversion to social contact, Ryoma can't help but be taken in by Haruto’s charms. The duo later reunite unexpectedly, and Ryoma begins to sense that Haruto’s unique talents could help him solve difficult criminal cases. They start to work together, but as their professional collaboration begins, Ryoma finds himself irresistibly drawn to Haruto. Could love help Ryoma end his anxiety – or will it prove toxic?
