Upon meeting Luis Fernando, Maria accidentally wet him, causing a big problem between them, as he decided to leave home. Maria thinks of leaving the house when she feels rejected by everyone, but Fernando prevents it.

Don Fernando gives Maria a bunny to keep her company and asks her to join them at the dinner table, which makes Victoria even more upset. Luis Fernando, drunk, goes into Maria's room and kisses her.

Vladimir confesses Luis Fernando that he could fall in love with Maria despite his mother's opinion. Maria tries to overdress herself to eat with the family, making fun of everyone at the table.

Luis Fernando tries to confront Fernando because of the slap he gave him. Luis Fernando pretends to continue making fun of Maria and has all her animals taken away from her, but Don Fernando does not allow it and buys her more.

Luis Fernando confesses to Maria that he is in love with her. Luis Fernando takes Maria to the opera along with Vladimir and Soraya but things get out of control as Soraya begins to offend Maria which leads to blows.

Maria gets upset when she finds out that Luis Fernando will marry Soraya. Vladimir confesses to his sister that he is in love with Maria.
