Punky and her family have to figure out where Izzy is going to sleep in their apartment; after a surprise call from her long-absent mother, Punky has to decide whether she's ready to see her again.

Punky and Hannah venture into the dating world at the same time, prompting Hannah to pull away from her mom until a mishap brings them closer together; when Travis gets writer's block, Izzy helps him write a song.

Punky finds a joint in Hannah's bedroom and worries that Hannah's boyfriend, Sean, is a bad influence; Izzy tries to be the perfect child to avoid getting sent back to Fenster Hall.

Punky goes out with a musician, upsetting Travis; Izzy loses her beloved cap and the kids have to help her get it back.

When Daniel wears a sarong to school, Punky and Travis wonder about his gender identity and try to figure out how to get him to open up; Izzy is obsessed with professional wrestling.
