Valeria arrives at the town of her fiancé, Leonel, to start a new life with her. Sabina accuses Leonel of having killed Patricio. Leonel is jealous when he sees that Valeria spends time with Mateo.

Family and friends say goodbye to Patricio at his funeral. Sabina asks Aaron to tell her if Patricio had another son. Leonel is enraged when he learns that Dalia is Patricio's main heir.

Valeria is happy to learn that Remi has arrived at the ranch. Valeria and Remi convince Leonel to be the face of a very important magazine. Mateo suspects that Valeria is interested in him.

Dalia asks Leonel to give Mateo back his job at the ranch. Luisa confronts Artemio to find out if Eva is his lover. Artemio assures that Lorenzo is responsible for having kidnapped Berenice.

Eva accuses Luisa of having caused Berenice to run away from her house. Mateo discovers the hiding place where Valeria is kidnapped.
