The Bill Engvall Show

When Trent is tapped to fill in as a quarterback for his high school football team, Bill goes overboard in coaching him believing that if he can get Trent to discipline himself in football, he will become more in the rest of his life. Meanwhile, Lauren contemplates getting a belly button ring.

Bill surprises the family with a trip to Hawaii. But plans begin to fail when he is faced with a moral dilemma of telling his family the truth about Raffles, the family dog who needs surgery, or spending the money on their vacation.

When Bill and Susan recount the story of how they met, Susan learns a different story from the one she knew causing an argument between them. This causes Bill to miss out on a big football game. Meanwhile Bryan sprains his ankle.

When Susan decides she wants to go back to work to earn some extra money by selling her muffins, Bill tries to be supportive even though he doesn't love the idea.

Trent's teacher informs Bill and Susan at Parent-Teacher night that he is concerned about Trent's progress. A concerned Bill pushes Trent to finish a five page paper that is due the next day. Meanwhile, Bryan's snake is loose in the house.

Susan complains that she and Bill need some "us time." When Bill seeks Paul's counsel, he suggests taking Susan to the Chris Isaak concert. Susan confesses to a tryst she had in college that makes Bill jealous.
