"Hvide Sande" is a crime series about an undercover expert and a homicide detective who are secretly sent to a danish seaside town to solve the murder of a young German man while pretending to be a married couple.

Helene and Thomas are living in a trailer, where the close confines cause friction. Trying to get deeper into the local community, they meet the mayor, the local cop and his doctor wife, and the mayor"s brother, the powerful Thorbjørn. They also meet Sebastian"s circle of friends, a group of surfers led by Thorbjørn"s pretty and rebellious daughter, Michelle, who seems to have secrets of her own.

Helene and Thomas’ cover is put to the test during a double date with a prominent local couple. As new leads come in, the detectives take unexpected risks and break laws in the pursuit of clues.

As the investigation grows, so does the body count. Just as Thomas makes a break in the case, an explosive argument between him and Helene threatens to jeopardize the entire investigation.

As Helene and Thomas separately pursue leads, new possibilities emerge as to why Sebastien was killed. An old grudge becomes a new threat to Helene.

The investigation has fallen off track and Thomas is back in Germany. Helene has bigger things to worry about. A criminal she put behind bars has been released and is out for blood–Helene’s blood.
