Hidden is an eight part drama made up of inter-weaving stories, all linked by a single case –the abduction and incarceration of a young woman; a woman failed by the police and held in captivity for years, high in the Snowdonia mountains.

DI Cadi John and DS Owen Vaughan work together when a body is discovered in a river in the Snowdonia National Park, and strive to piece together the victim's location and movements after her initial disappearance.

DI John and DS Vaughan learn of Mali's troubled past; Nurse Lowri Driscoll escapes an attempted kidnapping on her parents' farm.

The investigation moves into the next phase when DI Caid John and DS Owen Vaughan are called to look into a potential kidnapping.

Dylan Harris holds Megan captive in a locked subterranean room. When PC James and PC Davies pay a routine visit to ask Dylan if he knows anything about Mali Pryce, Dylan manages to convince PC Davies that he knows nothing.

As the post-mortem results come in, the police realise the horror of Mali Pryce's circumstances. Plus, DI Cadi John sees that her father's health is rapidly declining.

Cadi heads to Gladwell prison to question Endaf about the murder of his niece; Owen finds a new missing persons report amongst the case files.
