Corliss needs an evening wrap, and Dexter needs a tuxedo for the big formal dance but neither can gather the nerve to ask Mr. and Mrs. Archer if they can borrow the items.

In an effort to teach their kids the benefits of saving for the future, Harry and Bill make a deal with Corliss and Dexter, to match their earnings, dollar-for-dollar.

Dexter is chosen to direct the annual student/family play and gets himself into quite a touchy situation when it comes to casting the lead roles.

After seeing Mr. Archer hiding a package and misunderstanding a business call, Corliss and Dexter decide he's a kleptomaniac.

Corliss and Dex are struggling with a tough algebra problem, their parents smugly think they can find the answer, and soon everyone is working on the problem with no solution in sight.

When Corliss comes down with the measles, Dexter is exposed and must be quarantined in the Archer home for several days.
