With a new house in the suburbs, a family party to celebrate his diploma and his new job, life takes shape for Maxim; she decides to upset the balance.

Having only just arrived in Montreal, Maxim finds herself in the midst of an emotional storm. Unable to choose between two men, she heads off to see her sister in the hope of finding help and reassurance.

Confronted by Laurence, Maxim decides to move away from all sources of judgment by looking for an apartment; Laurence tries to find the truth about William.

Having just moved into her new flat, Maxim takes on a job in a nightclub. She also falls under the charms of Nikki, leaving François feeling bereft and refusing to leave her life.

Maxim arrives in Quebec for a family photo shoot while Laurence enjoys a meal with her grandmother and her parents.

Nikki argues with her friends, who do not agree with the fact that she is in a relationship with a married man. Maxim doesn't know yet if she wants to continue her relationship with her neighbour.
