In each round, world-class chefs are whisked away virtually to iconic food destinations where they must use their skills and global food knowledge to impress resident superstar judge Chef Daniela Soto-Innes and an expert in that location's cuisine.
EPISODE 1
From Hot Pots to Cassava
The competing chefs are transported to Beijing to master the hot pot. They take on the cuisines of Tel Aviv, Israel, and Accra, Ghana, where the final two chefs must create a dish using plantains and cassava.
EPISODE 2
Chapulines and Celebrations
On the first virtual stop in Oaxaca City, the chefs cook with grasshoppers.
EPISODE 3
Mexico City, Maui, Addis Ababa
In Addis Ababa, Ethiopia, the finalists create vegan platters.
EPISODE 4
Florence, Memphis & Kyoto
The competing chefs start their journey making pasta in Florence, Italy.
EPISODE 5
Mumbai, Lima & Paris
After stops in India and Peru, the final challenge puts the chefs in Paris.
