Bad Banks

After ambitious banker Jana is dismissed from her job at Crédit International by the arrogant CEO, she is hired back by the department manager as an investment banker.

Jana is lured in by Leblanc with inside information about an imminent billion-euro deal, that the industry doesn't know anything about. One of the largest urban development projects in Europe is to be refinanced, but Jana refuses to take part.

Jana is made head of the team, but someone is sabotaging her work, and Thao isn't responsible. Meanwhile, the Deutsche team strives to deliver on the bid for Leipzig2025.

Jana confronts Leblanc with the approaching merger. However, the risk of supplying Leblanc with evidence of the balance sheet manipulation leads her to question what she should do.

After being wrongly fired, a young investment banker receives an offer for her dream job. Forced to give up everything she commits to her new position, but realizes that her former boss has been manipulating her.

As the financial world faces breakdown, the executive board makes the decision to sell Global's assets. As the bank closes, and Mayor's Schultheiss's work falls into ruin, all hope appears lost.
