Top lawyer Ryoma Shiba (Shogo Hama) is a genius in the courtroom, but away from the world of law, he struggles with social anxiety. He lives a solitary life in a high-rise apartment, where he shuns people and talks to his houseplants. But his life changes on the night he meets the likable but deceptive con artist Haruto (Katsumi Hyodo).
