Picking up the pieces - literally, in some cases - left by season two's depiction of a Texas-sized alien mother ship exploding in low Earth orbit, season three of "Alien Encounters" explores the potential impact of extraterrestrial contact with humans. Parts of the ship hit buildings and vehicles, but some debris is collected to harness its advanced technology, which begins an unfathomable industrial revolution.
