Griselda Blanco goes to court asking that her death sentence be postponed, in order to buy time and find out who kidnapped Michael, her youngest son. With the help of a false priest, Griselda obtains information that will help her escape from prison.

The sixties. Griselda travels with her mother Ana to Medellin looking for a better life. Lacking work and money, Ana begins to work as a prostitute. Being a teenager, Griselda runs away from her house after being abused by her stepfather.

Dario asks Griselda to marry him. Dario, Griselda and their henchmen enter a school to kidnap the son of a millionaire. Griselda goes back to her mother's house to take revenge on her stepfather. The police carry out an operation to rescue the young man.

Griselda and Dario get married in a quick symbolic wedding. Ana denounces Dario and his friends so Griselda can forget about those bad companies. Thanks to Ana's complaint, the police get a clue and go in search of Dario.

Two henchmen of Griselda and Dario are killed during the confrontation with the police along with the kidnapped boy. Griselda makes a promise to Dario. The father of the kidnapped boy holds Ana hostage and tortures her.

Griselda and Dario escape from the ranch. Griselda finds out from the news that her mother is very seriously ill in Medellin. Griselda promises Dario that one day she will be the boss of Medellin. Ana dies in the hospital. Griselda finds out her mom died.
