Kim and Pierre establish a new camp in an unexplored part of the Yukon; desperate for a supply of winter meat, Becky embarks on an early season moose hunt; Pike Mike and Bentley attempt to secure their essential food sources before winter sets in.

Becky intensifies her efforts to harvest a moose; Pierre looks to the land for resupply; Hoping to expand his trap-line Bentley flies north to establish a new camp; Pike Mike takes one last kick at the can in his quest to pad his winter larder.

Becky braves sub-zero temperatures to fish a remote, frozen lake; Pike Mike searches for a precious source of bush medicine; Kim and Pierre break camp and begin their winter trapping season. Bentley heads cross-county with a fishing boat in tow.

Kim and Pierre's trapping season is complicated by a troublesome local resident; Becky enlists her dog team to help secure a supply of firewood. Pike Mike hunts for small game; Bentley teaches his young nephew the tricks of the trapping trade.
