After being forced to share a cabin on a cruise, Caco and Camila fall for each other; when their marriage hits the seven-year itch, they end up calling it quits only to have to keep sharing the same apartment due to financial issues.

To help save the apartment from foreclosure, Camila decides to rent out her room; Caco gets uncomfortable with the amount of guests coming in and out and asks for help from his best friend, Marcinho.

After having their electricity cut off due to lack of payment, Caco realizes he can't just be waiting to get his indemnification; he starts a BBQ delivery business with Marcinho on his balcony to make money.

On her first date with Roberto Carlos, Camila's car is towed away; as she becomes more involved with him, he becomes great friends with Caco.

Caco gets very upset when he sees Roberto Carlos wearing his favorite shirt that Camila gave to him; he does everything in his power to get the shirt back.
